Family Emotional Support
Those who support others must feel supported themselves. You can count on us to provide you with the space and connect you with the people that can make sure that you know that you are not alone.
You are not alone.
Receiving a mental health diagnosis for your child can be a challenging experience that comes with many emotions. Moreover, experiencing the daily struggles of living that experience, before or after diagnosis, can also be emotionally draining. Community Does It wants you to know that you are not alone!
- Testimonies from families going through what you are going through
- The chance to be heard in a non-judgmental safe space
- Sharing your moments of joy or of hardship with other families in the same situation
- Having people you can rely on beyond just the meeting times
These are some of the experiences that await you at our center for mental health services. We believe that while knowledge is a powerful tool, the person wielding that tool is more important. Unless you feel strengthened and supported, it is very difficult to strengthen and support your children. Moreover, your child does not have to be attending sessions with our counselors for you to be able to receive this service, because helping you is helping our community.
